Here are some helpful tips in the meantime:
- Burst Electric Hot Water System:
Isolate power source at the meter or fuse box. Find the stop tap located adjacent to the hot water system. Turn it in a clockwise direction.
- No Hot Water (Electric):
Check the fuse box and make sure hot water switch is turned on. If there’s no hot water then call our team, as it’s possible the element has blown.
- No Hot Water (Gas):
Check the gas cylinder isn’t empty and attempt to relight the hot water by reading the instructions provided on the inside panel of your system. If you are unable to relight, call our team.
- Can’t Turn Tap Off:
Turn off the water supply at the meter, generally located at the front of the property. In villas and units, a separate isolation valve is sometimes located in the dwelling itself. Turn valve off in a clockwise direction.
- Burst Water Pipe:
Isolate the water supply and call us as soon as possible.
- Sewer Blockage:
Minimise water usage to prevent further overflow of sewerage. Contact us immediately.
